President’s Message

Profoundly gratifying it is to pen a message for the website that ushers in another academic session full of expectations , possibilities and accomplishments that have become synonymous with the name of this great institution. The successful culmination of the past year transports my thoughts to the times when the Vidyalaya was a tiny sapling waiting to bloom in the fullness of time and today, on the threshold of 134th year of its existence, we stand tall among the league of institutions that are not only harbingers of change but Global Leaders in higher education. Continuing this tradition of change and growth , KMV –The Heritage Institution has created not only rich inheritance of academic excellence in well-synchronised environ of cultural values & ethos but has also created women leaders who are rendering meaningful and meritorious services in various echelons for the progression of mankind.

Our legacy has taught us to imbibe every positive change and engineer it towards the multidimensional growth of young learners in such a way that their journey towards self- actualization becomes exciting, meaningful and impactful. Right from imparting quality education , creating facilities and opportunities, new age innovative programmes, international exposure to evaluation & examination reforms for young learners of today and their progression under Autonomous status-these are all indicators of progressive education at KMV. The colossal contribution rendered by the dynamic team leader, the college Principal, Prof. Atima Sharma deserves special commendation who has worked tirelessly with her global vision, futuristic approach and strong commitment in the upward journey of the institution. The mentoring skills and dedicated endeavours of our teaching staff also are no less worthy of praise.

Looking at our present autonomy as a great responsibility, let us resolve to create more benchmarks in future , not just to rest on present laurels, as says Ulysses –“ To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.”

With best wishes

Chander Mohan
