KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School Successfully Organises Online Inter-School Competition CHARISMA-2020

More than 200 Students from 18 Schools Participate in this Mega Event

Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage & Autonomous institution, Seat of Women Empowerment with Top National and State Rankings by India Today Survey of Best Colleges 2020 (various categories) & Outlook Magazine’s KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School organised its annual mega event CHARISMA-2020 Inter-School Competition. During this unprecedented time, KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School took the initiative to organise this Inter-School Competition on an online platform, so as to channelize the hidden potential of students in the most creative ways. More than 200 students of 18 schools across and around Jalandhar participated enthusiastically in this event. Competitions in various events were organized namely Solo Dance, Solo Song, Rangoli, Tickle Your Funny Bone, Poster-making, Photography, Sanskrit Sulekh Pratiyogita, Scientific Aptitude, Business tycoons, Sudoku-the mind game, and Net Savvy. During the virtual Award Ceremony for CHARISMA-2020, Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi graciously welcomed all the distinguished guests i.e. Principals, teachers-incharge and students of various institutions who took part in this mega-event. Madam Principal then addressed all the students and encouraged them to participate actively in such events which enhance the personality of students, build-up their confidence and also promote a spirit of healthy competition. She averred that KMV from time to time keeps on organising such meaningful activities so that the students could get a right platform to showcase their talent & skill. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Mrs Veena Deepak, Co-ordinator, KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School, Mrs AnandPrabha for successfully organising this mega event. A special thanks was extended to Dr. Madhumeet, Head PG Department (English) and Dean Student Welfare; Dr. Gurjot, Dean, Extra-Curricular Activities; Mrs Parminder, Head, PG Department (Physics). The final vote of thanks was extended by Mrs Veena Deepak, Coordinator KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School to all the schools, who participated in this mega-event and made it a huge success.

1st position goes to Dhriti, Class 12th, APJ School, Jalandhar.
2. Solo Song Competition:
1st position goes to Shyana, Class +2 (Arts), St. Soldier Sr. Sec. School, Jalandhar.
3 Rangoli
1st position goes to Rukhsar Praveen, Class 10th, Arya Model Sr. Sec. School, Phagwara.
4. Tickle Your Funny Bone
1st position goes to Rupali Manhas, Class +2 (Arts), KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School, Jalandhar.
5. Poster Making
1st position goes to Dilpreet Kaur, Class +1, DRV DAV Centenary Public School, Phillaur.
6. Scientific Aptitude
1st position goes to Dhruv Malhotra, Class 10th; Palak Malhotra, Class 9th, Sanskriti KMV School, Jalandhar.
7. Photography
1st position goes to Komalpreet, KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School, Jalandhar
8. Sanskrit Sulekh Pratiyogita
1st position goes to Khwahish, Class 10th, International Public School, Ludhiana.
9. Business Tycoons
1st position goes to Rajdeep, Class +1 (Commerce), KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School, Jalandhar.
10. Sudoku: The Mind Game
1st position goes to Manmeet, Class 9th, DRV DAV Centenary Public School, Phillaur.
11. Net Savvy
1st position goes to Kirat Rekhi, Class +1, Police DAV Public School, Jalandhar.
KMV won the overall trophy but being the host college gave it to the the runner up team of DRV DAV Centenary Public School, Phillaur. The runners-up trophy was shared by Police DAV Public School, Jalandhar and Sanskriti KMV School.
