Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) organised a one day painting workshop on oil painting. The workshop was organised by PG Department of Fine Arts. A very eminent artist Mr. Mohinder Thukral was the resource person for the workshop. More than 50 students participated in the workshop with full zeal and enthusiasm. During the workshop, the basics of oil painting along with composing an idea were discussed in simple and effective manner&Landscape painting with all its major aspects was also demonstrated by the artist. Mr. Mohinder talked about the creative process of composition in detail, he also explained the process as one must give his or her hundred percent and proper utilisation of time to become a successful artist. He also told that one must do commercial and commissioned works irrespective how big or small project it may be.The question and answer session witnessed maximum enthusiasm as all the learners got their doubts cleared and also took guidance in how to make a successful career in the oil painting. PrincipalProf. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that such events on art helps in developing the interests of the students in their respective subjects. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Mr. Yogeshwar Hans and faculty members of PG Department of Fine Arts for successfully organising the workshop.
