Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) has been striving tirelessly for the holistic growth of students. P.G. Department of Commerce and Business Administration and Career Counseling Cell aims at providing the best career opportunities to its young aspiring students. Keeping with this trend, a Career Counseling Workshop on Career as a Company Secretaryin collaboration with Institute of Company Secretaries of Indiawas organized for the students of commerce department. More than 300 students participated in this workshop with full zeal and enthusiasm. The resource persons for the workshop were CS Kanubha Jain, Immediate Ex-chairperson Jalandhar ChapterofICSI and Mr. Manish Kumar, Executive Academics (In-Charge) Jalandhar chapter of ICSI. Addressing the students, PrincipalProf. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi highlighted the importance of Professional Growth and Financial Independence. She averred that Company Secretary was a very lucrative profession and could make the students globally employable.CS Kanubha Jain apprised the students about the eligibility criteria for admission in the company secretary course, examination procedures, career prospects and  salary package offered by companies to a companysecretary. Mr. Manish Kumar motivated the students to have vision and mission in life and also addressed all the queries of the inquisitive students very aptly. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Dr Neeraj Maini, Head, PG Department of Commerce & Business Administration for successfully organizing the workshop.
