KMV is the leading institution in the region to bag maximum Intellectual Property Rights

Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous ) always takes new initiatives to uplift the standard of education. In this series, K.M.V. has been recently awarded two patent certificates by the Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trademarks, Government of India for innovative work in the field of food production and healthy eating under the title Healthy Food with Water Heating System and Adulteration Monitoring Equipment in the field of food production and healthy eating. Dr. Ashish Raina from the Department of Hospitality & Tourism, Mrs. Niti Kapoor, Head of the Department of Home Science, Mr. Baljit Singh from the Department of Animation, Ms. Tarandeep Kaur and Ms. Chahat Puri from the Department of Nutrition, Exercise and Health worked on this project and contributed to this innovative work& made the institution proud by bagging the patent for their project. It is noteworthy that Kanya Maha Vidyalaya is a leading institution in the region to bag maximum I.P.R.. Even before this, KMV’s Fashion Designing Department, Computer Science and Applications Department, Physics Department etc. have also got IPR from the Government of India. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi while congratulating the faculty members for  this special achievement averred that every student and faculty member is consistently motivated here at KMV to move forward and excel in the field of research.
