KMV- a patriotic institution & contributor to Indian Freedom Movement suffused with patriotic fervour

Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Autonomous and Heritage Institution, Ranked No. 1 College in Punjab and Top National Rankings by India Today Survey- 2021 always at the forefront in making the students responsible towards their nation. In an another initiative, students from various departments and N.C.C. cadets of KMV participated in the national anthem singing activity organized by the Ministry of Education, Government of India under the special program Azadi Ka Amrit Maha Utsav on the occasion of 75^th  Independence Day under the guidance of University Grants Commission, New Delhi. Participating with full zeal and enthusiasm, the students shared the videos of singing the national anthem by immersing themselves completely in the feeling of patriotism. It is noteworthy that the students participating in this activity were also given certificates by the Government of India and the videos made by them will be released on the occasion of Independence Day. Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi appreciating the patriotic spirit of the group girls participating in this activity & averred that the national anthem of India is a special tribute to the identity of every citizen and his love for his country, which will always make him/her feel a proud Indian.Congratulating everyone on Independence Day, Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Dr. Madhumeet, Dean, Student Welfare for organising this event successfully.
