Guidelines for Authors

The Oracle: An International Journal of English Literature & Language welcomes contributions in the form of unpublished research based articles/papers related to English Language, Literature & Criticism.

• The Articles/Papers of about 3000-5000 words each, must be neatly typed in Times New Roman Script, Font;size 12, line spacing 1.5 on A4 size paper with proper references and actually cited sources in MS-word. Kindly consider 7th MLA style sheet.
• Authors are asked to register online with the journal for review and publications of a research paper. The author will be intimated their login and password through an automatic email.
• On submission of a research paper, another email will be sent to the author(s) regarding the successful submission of the research paper and date of completion of review process.
• The comments of editor and reviewer will be intimated to author(s) once the review process is over.
  Author will also be intimated through an email the probable issue of the journal in which the research paper will be published.

Guidelines for Reviewers

• Anonymous reviewers will be asked for their consent for reviewing a particular research paper through a link provided on journal website.
• On acceptance, the reviewer will be provided access to the full document.
• The review process will be a time bound process and reviewer will be given a deadline to complete the review.
• The review of an article will be a double blind process and the name of the author(s) will not be revealed to the reviewer and vice versa.
• On completion of review of an article, the comments will be sent to the editors online.

Peer Review & Publication Policy

• On submission of a research paper again another email will be sent to the author(s) regarding the successful submission of the research paper.
• The Editor-in-chief/editor assign a reviewer to the research paper according to the specialization of the reviewer.
• The review process will be a time bound process and reviewer will be given a deadline to complete the review.
• The review of an article will be double blind process and the name of the author(s) will not be revealed to the reviewer.
• The comments of the reviewer are final.
• On completion of review of an article, the comments are sent to the editors online.
• The oracle is published annually.
• The journal in its reviewer list has reputed academicians from across the country and globe.
• Further, to ensure the quality of research, an undertaking is obtained from author(s) that the research is original and all the help sought is full acknowledged. Furthermore, research work has not been published/presented/communicated elsewhere.
