KMV’s Mentors Program “Popularizing sciences among school students” April 27, 2022

P.G. Department of Physics has organized a KMV’s Mentors Program “Popularizing sciences among school students” to inculcate scientific temperament among students of St. Soldier Divine Public School, Jalandhar. Students learnt difference between sound and light waves and observed the behaviour of waves while propagating through different mediums. Students were able to identify types and nature of mirrors they use in their day to day life. Students were amazed to observe the behaviour of magnet while falling through plastic and metallic pipe. Students were surprized to see the patterns formed by iron fillings around magnets and found them identical to diagrams in their science books.
