P.G Dept of Zoology of KanyaMahaVidyalaya, Jalandhar conducted an International Webinar on “Neural Circuits in Mental Health and Disease” by Dr. Sandeep Sharma. Dr Sharma started his lecture by giving overview of neural circuits and discussed different approaches to discover novel neuronal circuit elements. The speaker highlighted the functional relevance of neural circuits in neurorehabilitation. Dr. Sharma also highlighted the impact of lifestyles such as diet and activity on neural circuits and mental health. The event ended with a healthy discussion and the vote of thanks by Head of the Department, Mrs. Sadhana Tandon. The lecture was very enlightening, informative and useful for all the participants and there were almost 90 student participants.
