October 2019. Dr. A.S. Ahluwalia, Professor Department of Botany, Panjab University presents a presentation in which he introduces the algae as a food and energy for future. He expostulates students about diverse habitats of algae as well as diversity in their thalli. He also discussed classical and modern system of classification of algae. Along with this he explain the significance of algae in different fields like: experimental material, food industry, pharmaceutics etc.
