The program has been designed to inculcate value of gender equality among students so that they can identify the areas of gender discrimination and raise their voice against gender discrimination and work towards making the society gender neutral.

- To make students aware and capable of realizing their true potential.
- To ensure equal participation of men and women in all economic, social and political processes.
- To develop gender prospective to transform the mind set of society.
KMV is the first institution to start Gender sensitization program as a value added program. The program has been designed to inculcate value of gender equality among students so that they can identify the areas of gender discrimination and raise their voice against gender discrimination and work towards making the society gender neutral. The program aims to transform the attitude and behavior of students positively towards gender roles, responsibilities and relations and to create an environment that fosters gender equality and ensure equal participation of men and women in all economic, social and political processes
