Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar Hosts DISHA 2024: A Resounding Success in Innovation and Problem-Solving September 11, 2024

KanyaMahaVidyalaya, through its Department of Science in collaboration with the KMV Innovation Council, successfully organized DISHA 2024, an inter-departmental hackathon aligned with the Smart India Hackathon initiative. Over 50 teams presented innovative projects, including Earthquake Alarm systems, Artificial Wetlands, biodegradable plastics, eco-friendly paper alternatives, and other creative prototypes. The earlier success of the Automatic Stagnant Water Ejector, which secured First Position in the North Zone, further elevated the institution’s innovation profile. The event was graced by Principal Prof. Dr.Atima Sharma Dwivedi, whose leadership and encouragement inspired students to excel in research and problem-solving.
