Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar, India’s heritage and autonomous institution, always inspires its girl students to actively participate in co-curricular activities along with education for their all-round development. As a new achievement, Kanya Maha Vidyalaya took part in various competitions organized under the Bharat Swachhta League on behalf of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India. The students displayed their talent by participating enthusiastically in quiz, street play, slogan writing, graffiti, rangoli and cleanliness resolution and received huge number of prizes.. The students displayed wonderful best out of waste dress showing the importance of cleanliness and also spread the message of green environment. The students of Fashion Designing department won the first prize  in Best Out of Waste Dress with Sustainable dress . The students also performed brilliantly in the quiz competition based on Swachh Bharat. Apart from this, everyone liked the graffiti made on the topic of cleanliness by the students of Fine Arts Department. Along with this, the students displayed their extraordinary talent and gave the message of saving the earth which is being destroyed due to human greed in street drama. School Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the group of students on this wonderful achievement .
