Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar, students from the PG Department of Chemistry, participated in the celebration of International Youth Day on 12 August 2026, organized by Pushpa Gujral Science City. The event was aimed at inspiring young minds to become responsible, innovative, and socially conscious citizens while providing them with opportunities to engage in meaningful discussions and activities.
The participation of KMV students provided them with a valuable platform to interact with fellow young minds, exchange ideas, and explore contemporary issues of relevance to society. The event encouraged students to think creatively, develop a sense of social responsibility, and appreciate the important role of youth in shaping a progressive and sustainable future.
Through their active participation, the students gained exposure to diverse perspectives and strengthened their critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Such initiatives also encourage students to connect their academic learning with real-world challenges and contribute positively to society.
The students were accompanied by Dr. Narinderjit Kaur from the PG Department of Chemistry. Their participation reflects the department’s commitment to providing students with enriching learning experiences beyond the classroom and encouraging their holistic development.
Kanya Maha Vidyalaya continues to encourage its students to actively participate in programs that promote intellectual growth, creativity, leadership, and social awareness, thereby preparing them to become confident and responsible contributors to society.
