NGPE’ (NATIONAL GRADUATE PHYSICS  EXAMINATION) an orientation

program is carried out in the institution. During this program Haramanpreet , student of M.Sc ( Physics) transmit knowledge about NGPE. She told students that ‘

NGPE

is the only national level examination testing students in theory and as well as experiment. NPGE is conducted by

Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT)

and includes the individual ‘s assessment at India level. Dr. Neetu Verma, center incharge of national examinations in Physics Department of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya has been conducting this exam since 2007. Students of B.Sc. of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar participate in

NATIONAL GRADUATE PHYSICS EXAMINATION

every year. They competed with the students from national repute institutes like Mirinda House (Delhi), St. Stephen College (Delhi), BHU, Varanasi, Punjab University Chandigarh and various IITs. Last Year our students Ananya and Bishakha qualified this national examination with above cut off merit while four students named Anamika, Inderpreet, Harjot and Haramanpreet qualified this national examination with Top 10% of merit’. She inspired students to participate in exams and to utilize their knowledge of Physics. .
