NATIONAL GRADUATE PHYSICS EXAMINATION

(NGPE) is carried out in the institution.

NGPE

is the only national level examination testing students in theory and as well as experiment. NPGE is conducted by

Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT)

and includes the individual ‘s assessment at India level. Dr. Neetu Verma, center incharge of national examinations in Physics Department of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya has been conducting this exam since 2007. Students of B.Sc. of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar participated in

conducted on 27

th

March 2022. They competed with the students from national repute institutes like Mirinda House (Delhi), St. Stefan College (Delhi), BHU, Varanasi, Punjab University Chandigarh and various IIT’s. Our students Ananya and Bishakha have qualified this national examination with above cut off merit while four students named Anamika, Inderpreet, Harjot and Haramanpreet qualified this national examination with Top 10% of merit.
