This prestigious postgraduate course aims at building a strong background to various disciplines related to the study of plant biodiversity, ecology, anatomy and physiology, biochemistry, biotechnology, cell and molecular biology, cytogenetics , economic botany, bryology, algae, fungi etc. These diverse areas enhance the abilities and skills of students for practical application of botany in specialized fields. The study of this broad program also equips them with a suitable foundation for entry into higher studies and seek their career in research, teaching, environmental conservation programmes etc.

  • B.Sc. (Medical) with 50% marks with Botany as one of the subjects.
