Faculty of Sciences (Post Graduate Programmes)
Mathematics, as the mother of all sciences, has always been a pivotal subject in inter-disciplinary studies. A post graduate degree in Mathematics prepares the students for careers in different associations under Government and Private sectors such as scientists in DRDO (Defence Research & Development Organisation), in AAI (Airport Authority of India), etc. Students find commendable placements as Statisticians, Operation Research Analysts, Actuarians and many more.

1. Domicle / Non Domicile of Punjab students who have studied Punjabi till 8th/ 10th class will study Punjabi (compulsory)
2. The Non-Domicile of Punjab Students who have not studied Punjabi till 8th/10th class can choose either Basic Punjabi or Punjab History and Culture (PHC)
3. Domicile of Punjab students who studied out of Punjab and did not study Punjabi till 8th / 10th class will have to study Basic Punjabi
4. Domicile of Punjab students who have studied in Kendriya Vidyalaya of Punjab or any other school and due to any reason did not study Punjabi till 8th/10th class will have to study Basic Punjabi
5. Only those students can opt this course who have not studied Physics, Chemistry at +2 level.
6. Only those students can opt this course who have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at +2 level.
