A team from Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar visited the areas of Dhadha Fateh Singh, Sham Chaurasi, Talwandi Arahian, and Lamme Kaane to encourage literacy and improve the Gross Enrolment Ratio (GER) among rural students. The team interacted with students, parents, school authorities, and local residents to spread awareness about the importance of higher education, skill development, and career planning. Students were guided regarding educational pathways, subject choices, and future opportunities for academic growth. Special emphasis was laid on motivating girls to continue their studies and encouraging families to support equal educational opportunities. Educational awareness material was also distributed among villagers to promote literacy and educational participation. The initiative received a positive response and successfully promoted educational awareness among rural youth.
