A team from Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar visited the areas of Kukkar Pind, Jandiala, Kishanpur, and Sadar Pur to encourage literacy and improve the Gross Enrolment Ratio (GER) among rural and semi-urban students. The team interacted with students, parents, school authorities, and local residents to spread awareness about the importance of higher education, scholarships, skill development, and career opportunities. Special emphasis was laid on motivating girls to continue their studies and encouraging families to support equal educational opportunities. Educational awareness material was also distributed among villagers to promote literacy and educational participation. The initiative received a positive response and successfully promoted educational awareness and career consciousness among rural youth.
