Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar, under the UGC initiative NEP SAARTHI (Student Ambassador for Academic Reforms in Transforming Higher Education in India), successfully organized an expert talk on the theme “Digital Literacy and Innovation: Exploring the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC)” on 9^th April, 2026 at 12:30 PM.

The session aimed to enhance awareness among students and faculty about digital initiatives in higher education and to promote the effective use of technology in academics. A special focus was given to the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC), highlighting its role in providing flexibility, credit transfer, and multidisciplinary learning opportunities under NEP 2020.

The program was conducted under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi (Director) and Dr. Madhumeet (Dean Student Welfare). The resource person Dr. Monika Rani, Assistant Professor (Mathematics), Kanya  Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar elaborated on the concept, advantages, and implementation process of ABC, making the session highly informative and engaging. Students actively participated and gained valuable insights into digital learning platforms and credit-based education systems.

Overall, the event was a great success and contributed significantly to increasing awareness and adoption of digital education practices among students.
