Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage & Autonomous institution, Seat of Women Empowerment with Top National and State Rankings by India Today Survey of Best Colleges 2020 (various categories) has launched the humanitarian drive “Helping Hands” under the aegis of #KMVKares project. Under this project, college has extended financial support to those students whose parents or siblings are hospitalised due to Corona virus. The whole KMV family has joined hands to provide financial help and support to support this noble cause. Under this project, 10 students and their families have provided financial support until now and many more requests are also coming from students. Throwing more light on it, Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that KMV hasextended Helping Hands to provide relevant information, emotional supportor any kind of help including financial assistance to the students whose parents or who themselves are Corona affected. She further maintained that during this tough time the entire world is sailing on rough seas due to the onslaught of the deadly COVID-19. The times are unprecedented, scary and challenging, therefore, KMV as always being at the helm of affairs and playing a very instrumental role in social upkeep and welfarehas pledged to offer unconditional support to those affected by the ruthless virus through its project Helping Hands. KMV earnestly appeal to all members of community to join hands and help us in this selfless pursuit of uplifting the forsaken and helpless humanity at the most critical juncture in their lives. It is pertinent to mention that KMV during the pandemic contributed much to the society by distributing free masks and providing food to the needy ones under #KMVKares. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Dr Madhumeet, Mrs Niti, Dr Pardeep & Dr Gopi for this initiative.
