Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) has created history by securing the prestigious 4-Star Rating, the highest rating awarded by the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC), Government of India. With this remarkable achievement, KMV has emerged as the only college in Punjab to attain the coveted 4-Star Rating, marking a significant milestone in its journey of fostering creativity, entrepreneurship and new-age thinking among students and faculty. The distinction places KMV among the select leading institutions across India, including premier technical institutions, recognised for their exemplary efforts in creating an environment that encourages ideation, enterprise, and problem-solving. The prestigious rating reflects KMV’s sustained efforts through its Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) to provide students and faculty with opportunities to develop ideas, get entrepreneurial skills and engage with emerging areas of knowledge. The College regularly organises workshops, expert talks, seminars, webinars, mentoring sessions, IPR awareness programmes, ideation activities, and other capacity-building initiatives. KMV’s outreach extends beyond its own campus. The institution regularly conducts mentoring and awareness sessions for students and faculty of various colleges and schools, sharing its expertise and contributing to a wider culture of creativity, enterprise and knowledge exchange.
