On 19th March 2026, the Student Welfare Department, in collaboration with the Red Ribbon Club (RRC) and Eco Club of KanyaMahaVidyalaya (KMV), Jalandhar, organized a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp on the college campus. The event was conducted with great enthusiasm and aimed at promoting awareness about the importance of blood donation as a life-saving act. The camp was organized under the supervision of Dr.Kusum from Sriman Hospital, along with her dedicated medical team.
The camp witnessed active participation from students as well as faculty members, reflecting a strong commitment to social responsibility. A total of 87 students, along with faculty members, voluntarily donated blood, contributing to this noble cause.
Director Ma’am, Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi, appreciated the dedicated efforts of the organizers and volunteers. In her address, she emphasized the significance of such initiatives in nurturing compassion and a sense of service among students. She highlighted that blood donation not only helps save precious lives but also strengthens the spirit of community welfare and humanitarian values.The camp was efficiently managed with proper screening, hygiene, and safe blood collection procedures ensured by the medical team. Their professional support played a crucial role in the successful execution of the camp.
The event was well-organized and successfully executed, reinforcing KMV’s tradition of promoting socially relevant and service-oriented activities. The camp concluded on a positive note, leaving a meaningful impact on all participants and contributing towards the betterment of society.
