Department of Biotechnology and Department of Zoology, KMV college, Jalandhar organized an extension lecture on ‘Herbal Biotechnology’ by Dr. Pratap kumar Pati, Professor and Head, Department of Biotechnology, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar on 2nd Nov, 2019 at Devraj Hall. All students from stream of B.Sc Biotech and B.Sc Medical participated fully. He discussed about the role of Biotechnology in creating amazing variants of veggies like Golden Rice with improved vitamin A content.
