Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage & Autonomous institution, Jalandhar has received Top National and State Level Ranking in India Today Survey of Best Colleges 2021. It has the proud privilege and honor of being ranked First among the colleges of Punjab in various categories. KMV is miles ahead of other educational institutions in the region in terms of quality, ranking and new age education that has been introduced in the college. On this occasion, the whole ambience resounded with celebrations as whole college staff along with the students celebrated this achievement. Mr ChanderMohan, President, Arya Shiksha Mandal also graced the celebrations. Throwing more light on this singular achievement, Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that KMV has added another feather in its highly embellished cap by laying claim to top ranking in Punjab & India in courses like BCA, BBA, Science, Commerce & Arts. Revisiting the glorious success, the college has been ranked First in Punjab in BCA & Science, whereas BBA has been ranked first in intake quality & governance, first in infrastructure & living experience and first in career progression & placement. Commerce programs at KMV has been ranked first in intake quality & governance, first in infrastructure & living experience, first in academic excellence, first in personality & leadership development and first in career progression & placement. Arts program has been ranked first in intake quality & governance, first in infrastructure & living experience & first in academic excellence. Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi further maintained that such top rankings bear testimony to the fact that KMV is the brand name of quality education. With a commitment to meaningful futures, KMV prepares the students for life skills with programs like Foundation Course, Moral Education, Personality Development, Social Outreach, Gender Sensitization, Self Defense, Reasoning & Mental Abilities. These value- added programs are compulsory for all the students in different semesters and their grades are included in Detail Mark Cards. All these USPs have been instrumental in making KMV the top- ranking college across Punjab. At this juncture Principal KMV expressed gratitude to the KMV management ably led by Mr ChanderMohan for their constant guidance & support. Mr ChanderMohan, President, Arya Shiksha Mandal was jubilant and congratulated the Principal, faculty and students of this glorious heritage institution and maintained “KMV has opened pathway to the best standard in education & deserves to be ranked no. 1 year after year and now KMV is considered to be a role model for all the other colleges in India as KMV has already implemented much needed new age education reforms. Rightly have we been selected among the Top Colleges of India for the 4th consecutive time, I am proud to be the president of KMV”. It is pertinent to mention that in the last three ranking of India Today Survey of Best Colleges, KMV was declared No 1 College in India & Punjab in various categories. Madam Principal concluded by saying that KMV- the Heritage & Autonomous institution  by being ranked the Topmost college in Punjab under various categories has given yet another opportunity to the city to feel proud of.
