Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) has been ranked among top colleges of Punjab in the prestigious Outlook Magazine Rankings (2025). In various programmes, KMV has bagged number one position among colleges across Punjab. KMV is ranked 1^st in Punjab in Commerce, 1^st in Fashion Designing and1^st in Journalism& Mass Communication. It has also been ranked 1^st in Humanities in Guru Nanak Dev University. Elaborating on this remarkable accomplishment, Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi emphasised that KMV has achieved the highest ranking in Punjab and India across various categories, adding another accolade to its distinguished reputation. She further emphasized that as the first and only women college to attain autonomous status, KMV has entered the league of esteemed institutions and has implemented numerous educational reforms in alignment with the New Education Policy. KMV is not only the pioneer in implementing the New Education Policy but is also a role model for the other institutions. Prof. Dwivedi asserted that these top rankings serve as a testament to KMV’s reputation as a symbol of quality education, with a strong commitment to nurturing meaningful futures. KMV prepares the students for life skills with programs like Foundation Course, Moral Education, Personality Development, Social Outreach, Gender Sensitisation, Self Defence& Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Creative Thinking. Moreover, KMV has utilised the digital technology to its maximum for its various teaching & learning endeavours and also works on the placement opportunities for the students in India & abroad as many students from hotel management, biotechnology & physics department have been placed in USA at a maximum package of 70 lacs per annum.
