It is a matter of great pride that the prestigious Saraswati Samman was bestowed on Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi during International Arya Sabha held at New Delhi. This Samman was bestowed on Prof Dwivedi by outstanding personalities including academicians, philosophers and intelligentsia during International Vedic Research Conference on the topic ‘The Contribution of the Rishi Tradition in the Reconstruction of Golden India’ in which our worthy Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji was the Chief Guest. Prof Dwivedi was honoured with Saraswati Samman for her tireless and committed service over 40 years to the cause of higher education in general and the education, empowerment and emancipation of women in particular. A Harvard alumna, Prof Atima is a globally acclaimed personality who with her vision & progressive outlook has contributed colossally to the well being and education of the youth. She has been instrumental in paving new pathways for youth by devising strategies & policies to provide value-based education in sync with the latest global trends thus helping youth tread the path of self-reliance. She has been richly awarded and honoured at various national & international platforms like Best Research Content Award by Harvard University, USA, Rajiv Gandhi Education Excellence Award during a National Seminar held at New Delhi, “Indo-Nepal Shiromani Award” for outstanding Achievements in the field of Education by Nepal, Achiever of the Millennium Award presented during International Achievers Conference held at Bangkok, Thailand etc. It is a matter of great honour for Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) to be among the collaborators of this noteworthy international conference which elicited the presence of  erudite scholars, academia and researchers from across the globe. 1500+ research papers were presented during the 3 day conference. Another highlight of this conference was that the top leaders & heads of all religions attended the conference.
