To mark the celebration of National Education Day, Kanya Maha Vidyalaya(Autonomous) organized a Slogan Writing Competition. The day is observed every year to commemorate the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, India’s first Education Minister, whose visionary leadership laid the foundation of modern education in the country. The event aimed to honor his invaluable contribution to building an inclusive, equitable, and progressive education system while inspiring students to reflect on the true purpose of education in shaping individuals and the nation. Students enthusiastically participated in the competition and showcased their creativity through thought-provoking and motivational slogans based on the themes of education, women empowerment, knowledge, innovation, and lifelong learning. Many students emphasized the importance of women’s education to achieve gender equality, social progress, and national development. The competition provided them with a meaningful platform to express their views on how education serves as a powerful tool for personal growth, empowerment, and transformation of society. The event concluded with the message that education is not merely about acquiring knowledge but about transforming lives, fostering values, and creating responsible citizens committed to the nation’s progress. Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi applauded the efforts of Dr. Sandeep Kaur Saggu and the Department of Bio-Technology for organizing such a meaningful activity on National Education Day and appreciated the commendable initiative in successfully coordinating the event and inspiring students to uphold the true spirit of education, innovation, and social responsibility.
