The P.G. Department of Fashion Designing of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous), Jalandhar, organized an educational trip to Saras Mela at PAU, Ludhiana, on 11th October 2025. The visit aimed to provide students with practical exposure to traditional crafts, handloom products, and rural entrepreneurship. During the trip, students observed a wide variety of handmade textiles, embroidery, and regional art forms exhibited by skilled artisans from different parts of the country. The educational tour helped students gain insights into the rich cultural heritage of India, various craft techniques, and sustainable fashion practices. It proved to be an enriching experience that connected classroom learning with real-world craftsmanship and creative inspiration.
