The P.G. Department of Fashion Designing of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous), Jalandhar, achieved great success at the Zonal Youth Festival organized by Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, on 26th October 2025. Tammana Thakur, a student of B.Sc. Fashion Designing, proudly represented the department in the Phulkari competition and secured the 1st Prize for her outstanding work. Her creation beautifully showcased the traditional art of Punjab, combining vibrant colors, intricate embroidery, and cultural symbolism. The award reflected her exceptional skill, creativity, and dedication to preserving traditional craftsmanship. This achievement brought immense pride to the department and highlighted the talent, hard work, and artistic excellence of KMV’s fashion designing students.
