Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) hosted the Investiture Ceremony of the WOMENTUM Club, a pioneering initiative under the aegis of KMV’s Innovation Council, dedicated to fostering women-led innovation, entrepreneurship, and leadership. The ceremony marked a significant milestone in KMV’s ongoing commitment to empowering young women to become changemakers in their communities and beyond. The event commenced with a solemn oath-taking ritual, where newly inducted members pledged to uphold the values of creativity, equity, and social impact. 55members were formally invested with badges, symbolizing their roles as torchbearers of innovation and inclusive growth.Ms. Gyan Kaur of M.Com. (FYIP) Sem-V was selected as student President, Ms. Simarpreet Kaur of M.Com. (FYIP) Sem-V and Ms. Rachita Kanjilal of B.Sc. (Biotech) Sem-V as student Convener, Ms. Preet kamal Kaur of B.Com. (Sem-V) and Ms. Saloni of B.Sc. (Biotech) Sem-V as student Vice President of WOMENTUM CLUB.

Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi addressed the gathering, emphasizing the transformative potential of women’s leadership in shaping a self-reliant and progressive India. She lauded the WOMENTUM Club as a dynamic platform for nurturing entrepreneurial mindsets, promoting grassroots solutions, and integrating academic excellence with societal relevance. The ceremony also featured a showcase of student-led initiatives, including prototypes, community outreach plans, and sustainability-driven ideas aligned with national innovation missions. Faculty mentors and KMV-IIC representatives reaffirmed their support for capacity-building, mentorship, and institutional outreach through the club’s activities.
