Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous), Jalandhar, organised an insightful workshop on “Leveraging LinkedIn for Profile Building with AI” on September 19, 2025, under the PG Department of Computer Science & Applications in collaboration with the Placement Cell and the Job Readiness Program. The session was coordinated by Dr. Suman Khurana, Head of the Department and Placement Cell.
The resource person for the workshop was Dr. Jeeta Sarkar, expert in Human Resources and Organisational Behaviour at JIM Noida. She was warmly welcomed and felicitated by Dr. Suman Khurana.
The session focused on the strategic use of LinkedIn as a professional branding platform and demonstrated how AI tools can optimize students’ digital presence. Through interactive polls, live demonstrations, and profile analysis, students learned about developing powerful headlines, creating impactful summaries, selecting appropriate visuals, and using strategic keywords to enhance recruiter visibility.
Dr. Sarkar also guided students on the balanced use of AI for refining LinkedIn content and shared examples of effective prompts for profile improvement. The workshop concluded with a Q&A session, enabling students to clarify doubts related to networking, digital visibility, and career planning.
The session proved highly beneficial in equipping students with essential skills for building a strong professional identity online.
