Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous), Jalandhar, organised a highly engaging session on “Group Discussion and Interview Skills” on September 20, 2025, under the PG Department of Computer Science & Applications, Placement Cell, and Job Readiness Program. The event was coordinated by Dr. Suman Khurana, Head of the Department and Placement Cell.

The expert speaker for the session was Mr. Om Kanoujia, Founder of Alar Solutions and Microsoft Partner, who was welcomed and felicitated by Dr. Khurana.

Mr. Kanoujia trained students on essential components of professional readiness, including personality development, communication, confidence building, and analytical thinking. Students participated in several interactive activities such as perception exercises, voice modulation drills, self-reflection writing, group discussions, and mock interviews.

A demonstration of the AI-based Interview Conductor tool further provided students with real-time simulated interview practice and personalised feedback.

The session effectively prepared students for real-world professional interactions by strengthening their articulation, problem-solving skills, and interview performance. The event was well received and aligned with KMV’s commitment to enhancing student employability through innovative training initiatives.
