The Department of Computer Science & Applications, Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous), Jalandhar, successfully conducted an interactive workshop on IBM SkillsBuild for Academia on October 9, 2025.

The workshop familiarized students with IBM’s globally recognized digital learning platform, which offers free certification programs, industry-level tools, and training in high-demand technology areas such as Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and professional development skills.

Students from all years of the IT courses actively participated and explored how SkillsBuild can enhance career readiness through hands-on learning, international certifications, and practical exposure to industry-relevant technologies. The session provided valuable guidance on leveraging the platform to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional requirements.

Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi appreciated the initiative, emphasizing that such programs empower students with cutting-edge skills and global opportunities, aligning with KMV’s vision of holistic and employable education.
