On 18-04-2025, Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar, organized a carry bag distribution drive titled “An Initiative for a Greener Tomorrow” to promote environmental awareness and reduce plastic use. B.Sc. (Economics) Semester IV students actively participated, educating the public about the dangers of plastic pollution through charts and discussions. Fifty reusable cloth bags were distributed free of cost, encouraging the use of eco-friendly alternatives. The initiative received strong community support, with many pledging to reduce plastic usage. Local authorities praised the effort, recognizing it as a meaningful step toward a more sustainable future.
