Vinakshi Choudhary, an accomplished shooter and student of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) brought immense pride to the institution by winning a Silver Medal at the 44th North Zone Shooting Championship 2025 (Rifle), organized under the aegis of the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI). Representing the Punjab Rifle Shooting Association, Punjab, Vinakshi competed in the .177 Peep Sight Air Rifle (NR), 10m Women Individual event. The championship was held at Dehradun. Demonstrating exceptional focus and technical excellence, she scored 396 points, earning the Silver Medal and securing the 2nd  position in her event. In addition to this achievement, Vinakshi attained an impressive 8th position overall across all categories, competing against more than 2000 shooters from various states, highlighting her consistency and high national ranking among elite competitors. Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated Vinakshi on her remarkable accomplishment and lauded her perseverance, discipline and sporting spirit. She emphasised that Vinakshi’s success exemplifies KMV’s commitment to fostering talent and empowering young women through sports.
