Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) remains committed in its mission to enlighten and empower women. PG Department of Computer Science & Applications is consistently making efforts in imparting requisite skills for its students to thrive in a competitive world through Massive Open Online Courses, as an additional skill set along with their curriculum. In an another major achievement, two faculty members – Ms. Samriti Thakur and Ms. Priya have obtained MOOCs Certification from IIT Kharagpur in the domain of IoT, whereas 4 students – Ms. Paramveer, Ms. Kulpreet, Ms. Loveleen, and Ms. Satwinder have obtained MOOCs  in the domain of Machine Learning, Data Science and Mobile App Development from IIT  Kharagpur, IIT Madras and Null Class respectively. Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated faculty and students and averred that MOOCs promote independent learning habits, critical thinking, and motivation qualities required for higher studies and professional success. She also lauded the efforts of Dr. Suman Khurana, Dean Placements for consistently guiding teachers in expanding knowledge, and support life-long learning whereas students are mentored for their academic growth, professional advancements and enhanced skill-set to stay ahead of the job curve.
