The Department of Science and Technology in collaboration with the British Council under the UK-India Education and Research Initiative organized a four-day Leadership Development Workshop for women scientists in Space and Allied Sciences at Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad. Under the guidance of Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi, Dr.SangeetaPrashar (Physics) and Dr. Tank Sinderpal Kabal singh (Chemistry) from Kanya Maha Vidyalaya participated, making KMV the only institution from Punjab represented at the event.The workshop, part of the Women in Space and Allied Sciences Leadership Programme (WiSLP), aimed to empower women scientists for leadership roles by addressing skill gaps, communication, IPR, governance, and financial management. Sessions were conducted by experts including Prof. Sariya Cheruval lil-Contractor and Dr. Rami M. Ayoubi from Coventry University, UK, focusing on innovation, ethics, negotiation, and strategic leadership.
