The P.G. Department of Physics at Kanya Maha Vidyalaya organized an inspiring Alumni Talk titled “Know Your Alumni” on March 21, 2025, featuring Ms.Gursharanjit Kaur, Doctoral Student at the Center for Theoretical Physics, Polish Academy of Sciences. She shared her academic journey, highlighting how her strong foundation in physics at KMV shaped her career in astronomy research. Recalling her industrial visit to Borosil, Gujarat, she emphasized the importance of practical exposure, research skills, and analytical thinking in securing global opportunities. She also guided students about international collaborations, internships, and fellowships in astronomy and space research.The interactive session motivated students to pursue excellence in physics, and Dr.Neetu Verma appreciated the initiative for providing valuable career insights. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks to the speaker and participants.
