The P.G. Department of Physics at Kanya Maha Vidyalaya celebrated National Technology Day on May 15, 2025, with great enthusiasm to commemorate India’s technological milestones, particularly Operation Shakti conducted under the leadership of AtalBihari Vajpayee. More than 55 science students participated in the program, which began with a discussion on the historical significance of the day. Dr. NeetuVerma, Head of the Department, delivered an insightful presentation highlighting India’s technological evolution in nuclear science, space research, and digital communication, inspiring students toward innovation and nation-building. The event also featured live demonstrations of advanced physics experiments, connecting theory with real-world applications. A guided visit to the Departmental Innovation Hub further provided students hands-on exposure to research projects and prototypes, motivating them to pursue research-oriented careers in science and technology.
