The National Science Day is celebrated to commemorate the discovery of Raman Effect, a phenomenon in spectroscopy, by the Indian Physicist Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman. It also aim to propagate the importance of science and its application among students. KMV has observed the Science Dayby organizing stall exhibitionsto inculcate scientific skills. All the students of Zoology department participated in this event with full enthusiasm. Students of M. Sc. Zoology prepared working models, scientific games for demonstration of human anatomy. Participants have presented their creative ideas and knowledge in models.In addition to this, department also organised blood group, blood pressure and BMI/BMR checkup camp for students. The students of KMV actively participated in the camp and it provided a good exposure to them about their health.Professor (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi, Principal KMV, College appreciated the contribution of the students and congratulated the faculty of the PG Department of Zoology for organizing the event.
