The Autonomous and Heritage institution, KANYA MAHA VIDYALAYA ranked No. 1 college of Punjab and Top National Ranking by India, Outlook Magazine and Times of India Group 2022 organized Poster making competition and Plant donation camp on April, 22nd, 2025 to celebrate “WORLD EARTH DAY” with theme: “OUR POWER, OUR PLANET”.
The two- day event was organized by Department of Zoology& Environmental Sciences, KMV Collegiate senior secondary School, Student Welfare and Eco-Club. Every year college grabs opportunity to sensitize students and institutional faculty regarding this vital environmental issue. Around 30 students participated with full zeal and enthusiasm in the event to showcase their creativity. Students made posters and slogans and donate the plant to save the mother earth.
Professor (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi, Principal KMV college appreciated the contribution of students and congratulated the faculty of Department of Environmental Sciences for organizing the event.
