In a moment of pride and symbolism, the Electronic Mashal was ceremoniously handed over by the KMV team to Dr.Vinay Kumar, Principal, DAV College, Hoshiarpur, in the presence of Dr. Vishal Sharma, Head, Department of Physics, DAV College, Hoshiarpur, and the Physics faculty. This gesture highlighted the college’s commitment to innovation, experimental learning, and the propagation of scientific spirit.

The day unfolded with a vibrant Science Exhibition showcasing students’ creativity and scientific temper. It was followed by an Experimental Physics Workshop conducted by Dr.NeetuVerma and Dr.Surbhi Sharma, who demonstrated a wide range of fundamental and applied Physics concepts including Bernoulli’s principle, wave motion, Lenz’s law, circular motion, magnetic forces, optics, electricity, and magnetism. Their interactive demonstrations provided students with hands-on scientific exposure and deepened their understanding of core physical principles. Around 200 students actively participated in the workshop.Adding to the intellectual fervour, Dr.SangeetaPrashar delivered an enlightening talk on Quantum Computing, a rapidly emerging field at the intersection of physics and computer science. The event left a lasting impact on the students, nurturing curiosity, critical thinking, and innovation, in line with the mission of the Anveshika Bharat Yatra — to spread experiential physics education and ignite a scientific mindset across the nation.
