To celebrate Diwali in an eco-conscious and innovative way, the P.G. Department of Physics at Kanya Maha Vidyalaya organized Lumina 2025 on October 16, 2025, under the theme “Eco Innovations: Physics Powering the Festival of Lights.” The event promoted sustainability, scientific temper, and creativity through Rangoli, Poster-Making, and Classroom Decoration competitions centered on environmental awareness and physics concepts.
Students enthusiastically showcased innovative ideas blending tradition with science, highlighting renewable energy, pollution-free celebrations, and eco-friendly practices. Winners were awarded across all categories for their outstanding creativity and presentation. Lumina 2025 beautifully combined the festive spirit of Diwali with responsible celebration, leaving a strong message to let innovation and sustainability illuminate the festival of lights.
