As part of the International Conference on Physics Education 2025, Dr. Neetu Verma, Head of the P.G. Department of Physics at Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, conducted an engaging hands-on workshop titled “JALSA-E – Joy of Learning Science through Anveshika Experiments” on December 17, 2025. The workshop emphasized inquiry-based learning through simple, interactive experiments that made physics concepts accessible and enjoyable. Demonstrations included a wave machine to explain transverse and longitudinal waves, the use of a slinky to illustrate wave propagation, and experiments showing wave transmission through solids, liquids, and gases. Through these practical activities, Dr.Verma highlighted how experiential learning fosters curiosity and deep conceptual understanding. The session stood out at ICPE 2025 for showcasing the power of hands-on science education in making physics engaging and meaningful.
