The P.G. Department of Physics at Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, in collaboration with National Anveshika Network of India, organized a Movie-Based Quiz on February 7, 2026, to promote scientific awareness through interactive learning. The event featured a documentary on the life of Marie Curie, highlighting her pioneering research in radioactivity, discovery of polonium and radium, and her inspiring journey as a woman scientist overcoming social and academic barriers. Following the screening, an engaging quiz session conducted by Dr.Neha Sharma tested students’ understanding of Marie Curie’s life, discoveries, and contributions to science. Students from postgraduate classes participated enthusiastically, demonstrating strong interest and active engagement. Dr.NeetuVerma encouraged students to draw inspiration from Marie Curie’s perseverance and emphasized the importance of women’s education and scientific achievement.
