The P.G. Department of Physics at Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, in collaboration with National Anveshika Network of India, organized a career counselling session titled “Physics Horizons: Career Pathways, Exams, and Research (2026–27)” on April 10, 2026, for B.Sc. and M.Sc. students. The session was conducted by Harleen Singh Sethi, who provided insights into career opportunities in academia, research, industry, and government sectors. Students were guided about competitive examinations such as IIT JAM, JEST, GATE, CUET-PG, and TIFR GS, along with career prospects in organizations like ISRO, BARC, DRDO, and IMD. The session also highlighted internships and fellowships including IAS SRFP, JNCASR, and TIFR VSRP, while discussing emerging fields such as data science, semiconductor technology, renewable energy, and medical physics. An interactive question-and-answer session allowed students to clarify doubts and gain practical career guidance.
