At KMV Jalandhar, Autonomous Heritage institution empowering girls students is a mission. SUO Tara attended Advance Mountaineering Camp at Atal Bihari Vajpayee mountaineering and allied sports, Manali, Himachal Pradesh. She led the camp very prodigiously. Tara was the only cadet selected from Jalandhar. In this camp, she was given training of proficiency in the Advance techniques of rock climbing, rappelling & jummaring with weight of 25- 28kg, casualties rescue training, lowering rescue and river crossing. She also attended the height O’peak summit (17060 feet) and was honoured to represent NCC and scale 5200m (17060 feet) on O’peak summit. Principal KMV Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi appreciated the trainings which were a vital part of holistic education . She appreciated the Lt. Sufalica kalia ANO department of NCC for working zealously to came up with a variety of opportunities and activities everyday so that girls can emerge as the future leaders of the Nation.
