KMV mentors school students during an Internship Program on Innovative Physics and Animation

Event Date

May 2, 2026

Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) P.G. Department of Physics in collaboration with National Anveshika Network of India RC -02 successfully organized an enriching internship program for the students of Swami Sant Dass School, Jalandhar. The internship aimed to introduce students to two important domains—animation as a creative digital tool and physics as a scientific discipline—and to demonstrate how both can complement each other in modern learning. The program was thoughtfully structured to provide balanced exposure to both fields, helping students understand animation techniques alongside fundamental physics concepts. In the animation segment, students were introduced to the basic principles of digital animation, including motion design, frame sequencing, and visual storytelling. They learned how animation can be effectively used to create engaging educational content and simplify complex ideas through visual representation. In the physics segment, students explored core concepts such as motion, waves, electricity, and optics through demonstrations and hands-on activities. The sessions focused on building conceptual clarity and encouraging scientific thinking through experiments and interactive discussions.A key highlight of the internship was the integration of animation with physics, where students observed how animation can be used as a powerful tool to visualize and better understand scientific concepts. Director Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi encouraged the students to learn new things and explore innovative approaches through this internship. She appreciated the efforts of Dr. Neetu Verma, Head, P.G. Department of Physics, and Dr. Suman Khurana, Head, P.G. Department of Computer Science and Applications and faculty members for successfully organizing the program and commended the initiative for promoting both creative skills and scientific understanding among young learners.
